If you prefer to watch instead of reading see below video
If you happened on this page but aren’t sure what ClickFunnels is and what it can be used for – click here to see what clickfunnels are
When you first log into Clickfunels you will be brought to a landing page that allows you to navigate within Clickfunnels. Keep in mind Clickfunnels is a cloud based software which means you can access it from any where.
Once at the ClickFunnels landing page, mouse over to the Funnels drop down menu.
Scroll down to Build A Funnel and click on it.
Its going to show you a pop up menu to choose from 2 different options….
- Clickfunnels Cookbook builder Process
- Clickfunnels Classic Funnel Builder
For now lets just click on the classic funnel builder option.
The next pop up under the build a funnel are the following
- Collect Emails (optin page)
- Sell your product (e commerce)
- Host Webinar (Training program)
For now choose “Collect Emails”‘ option.
Its going to ask you to name the funnel and you can name it whatever you want but choose something like “clickfunnels test1” .
We are just going over the basics on how to build a funnel in clickfunnels. No need to worry about the Group tag bit.
Select Build a Funnel
We will then be routed to the the Email Optin Templates that Clickfunnels offers to you. You can choose to modify ANY of the provided Templates that ClickFunnels is offering you.
For this purpose I would recommend just choosing the ClickFunnels “Optin Blank Start” as we are just going to be clicking around.
Once you find the Option Blank Start click on select template. Once the template is selected you will be taken to this page
Lets now click on the Edit page button…this is going to take you to the ClickFunnels editor.
You will see a bunch of options that look overwhelming. Take a deep breath you can break anything in here.
I personally go started by just clicking around seeing how things worked and such. If I got stuck, I would then search the Clickfunnels help and then would reach out the Clickfunnels support.
You should be seeing this…
Lets start with the basics
- Add Section
- Manage (section)
Click on Add section and click, hold, and drag and drop where it says “drop”. This will add the section you selected.
When you scroll of the section on the page you will have a couple of options (the following is the same for all options)
- Settings (The gear)
- Clone (2 pages)
- Save (Floppy disk)
- Delete (Trash can)
Within the section you can add the next option ClickFunnel Rows
- Add Row
- Manage (Row)
Select Add row and you will see a bunch of column options. click, hold, and drag and drop where it says “drop”
Sweet! You now have added a row to your optin funnel!
In the clickfunnel sections and rows you can add elements to each of those following options.
- Add Elements
- Manage (Elements)
Now this is where the magic starts to happen. The elements are going to the options that breathe life into your blank clickfunnels optin page.
Here are the following options under the Elements tab
- Bullet List
- Image popup
- Video popup
- Audio player
- Select Box
- Text Area
- SMS sign up
- Billing Add
- Shipping Add
- Minute Timer
- Day Timer
A Content Blocks
- IMG Feature
- Progress bar
- Image List
- Pricing table
- Social Share
- FB Comments
- Text Block
- Custom JS/HTML
Now, right now don’t worry about all the different options. Try to just add an image some text and practice changing everything. Once you feel comfortable with that move onto a new Clickfunnels element.
Once you feel like you can easily modify each of the sections feel free to then go select a pre-built template and once that happens we will start to dive in deeper on how to get the Clickfunnel to work with email, social media, email res-ponder, payment gateway, even your own custom domain.
ClickFunnels is a powerful too for any business that needs to easily and effectively create sales funnels. As always feel free to reach out with ANY questions or comments you have.
